Kim Delaney is an American actor who is most well-known as the character Detective Diane Russell in ABCs series NYPD Blue for which she garnered an Emmy Award. The most notable role she has played is her role as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. As the sole daughter to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. While she had a childhood aspiration to become journalist, it was not until her high school years that Delaney began to model. Following her move from New York City and gaining experiences as a commercial model in New York did she achieve the career as aspiring court reporters. In 1981, she starred as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress from the 1980s has appeared in several films TV movies and dramas. Her custody in 2005 was removed from her.
