Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, from Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from bloggers and music critics and the press. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to use music for development of her own, not to earn a living or an interest. The Aksnes family advised her to compose. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork as her main influences. Her mom encouraged her to play her songs in public, not so that she could achieve fame, but rather to let others know how important they are and how they can make a difference to make a difference in the world. As a young girl, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she was fourteen. The dream was never to be Aurora. Her only passion is writing music. To her music, it is the best method of expressing anything.
